Hello Zippo trick:
Hold the Cap in your non dominant hand with the hinge facing out. 

Swing the lighter open. 

Take your dominant hand and place it over the lighter. 
The webbing of your middle finger should be directly over the flint wheel (this is how you will light it). 

Using a strong wrist motion pull your hand back lighting the lighter and sending it spinning through the air. 

This spin should land comfortably in you hand. 

Use a strong swing to shut.
