Position the lighter tilted over horizontally with hinge pointing up.
Hold on to the case of the lighter with thumb, middle-, and index finger with hand of choice.
Force the lid open by placing the tip of your thumb (other hand) on the narrow side of the lid 
that is pointing downwards and then jerk it up.
Keep pushing the lighter so it spins around the pivot point created by your other hand.
As the lighter completes an entire 360 degrees spin, stretch out your index finger and hit 
the sparking wheel to ignite.
Upon ignition, let the lighter spin an additional 90 degrees until it is standing up straight.
Close anyway you fancy!
